2017 Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Joseph Giannone, the 2017 recipient of the Harry P. Mirabile Scholarship. Joseph is a 2017 Norristown Area High School graduate who will be matriculating at West Chester University in the fall to study business.

Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Scholarship
The Greater Norristown Police Athletic League (GNPAL) honors the memory of former director Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. by awarding yearly three scholarships to students pursuing post secondary education at either a college or a trade school. Each scholarship is valued at $1,500.
Applicants must have volunteered a minimum of 10 hours at Greater Norristown PAL, as well as having volunteered in the community, in the two years prior to applying to be considered..
Students who are either graduating from high school student or a college undergraduate continuing their post secondary education may apply if they meet the volunteer requirements.
Volunteer opportunities available at Greater Norristown PAL include, but are not limited to:
• sports assistant
• gym monitor
• program assistant
• summer program aide
• clean-up crew
• family night volunteer
• office helper

Completed applications, transcripts, and letter of recommendation must be received at Greater Norristown PAL no later than May 1.
